Preparing for Module 3

Look at your completed Agent Identity Document. Your agent now has a name, a metaphor, a core belief, a cognitive posture, a primary obligation, and an identity anchor. It knows who it is.

But it doesn't know how to think. It knows what it values and what it prioritizes. It doesn't have a structured process for applying those values to actual work.

Ask yourself: when your agent receives its first real input, what does it do first? Not what does it produce. What does it think about first? What does it check before it starts working? What sequence of cognitive steps would make its analysis reliable, repeatable, and consistent?

That sequence is the beginning of cognitive protocols. Module 3 teaches you how to design them.
